RNC Group takes the principal building agreement, puts its own teams on it, and stays on site until the certificates are issued.
RNC Group is a main contractor based in Johannesburg and working across South Africa. The core of the business is turnkey development work: we take a site from bulk earthworks and civils through structure, envelope, services and finishes, and hand over a building that is ready to occupy.
Alongside that we build mining developments and heavy industrial work, including plant civils, process buildings and tunnelling, often around live operations where the plant cannot stop. Commercial warehousing and industrial factories make up the balance of the book.
The largest project completed to date is the 36 000 m² BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir and Cultural Complex in North Riding, carried in the job list at R648 million. RNC Group is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor.

RNC Group holds the principal building agreement and carries the programme, the site and the liability. We do not take subcontract packages under another builder.
RNC Group is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor, which carries the highest procurement recognition available to a client spending with us.
Established relationships with trades, suppliers and plant hire across the country mean we can establish a site and hold the main contract anywhere in South Africa.
We measure and price off the drawings rather than working back from a target, so the number we give you is the number we build to.
Site establishment, earthworks, structure and brickwork are run by our people, and every specialist trade is contracted under us rather than alongside us.
On plant and factory work we sequence around production, shutdown windows and access restrictions so the client keeps operating.
We stay on the job through snagging, statutory sign off and handover, and we hand over the compliance paperwork with the building.
The office and the core teams sit in Johannesburg, and most of the completed work is in the Gauteng industrial belt, from Pomona and Kempton Park through to Germiston and the West Rand. What lets us work further out is the network: established trades, suppliers and plant hire in the mining provinces and the coastal corridors, all contracted under us.
That means we establish a site, mobilise and hold the main contract anywhere in South Africa, rather than handing the job to a local builder. We have also worked across the border, including a boiler house in Eswatini.
